The Biotech Audio Player is a small piece of software that enables you to play both custom and commercial audio CDs with amazing quality. It is capable of playing all primary sound files (.mp3, .wav, .wma, etc.) as well as rarer ones such as (.midi and .mid). Upcoming versions will also enable you to play even more sound files, and you will also be able to play large varieties of video and movie files. You will even be able to play multiple sounds and movies simultaneously. The audio player has several built-in visualization engines for your viewing pleasure. We are also working on new engines that will be added to future versions and allow for even greater customization of the player.
Features:
-Plays both custom burned and commercial CDs.
-Can handle wide varieties of sound files so that there's no chance of a CD not playing.
-Has 5 beautiful visualizations - all accessible with the click of a button.
-Has a built in mini-mode in order to save unnecessary processor usage.
Features being developed (most are practically complete):
-Be able to load and play an even wider range of audio files straight from your hard drive.
-Be able to load and play a wide variety of videos straight from your hard drive - you can even play several at once.
-Immense amounts of visualizations that can be custom fitted straight to your software and computer specifications.
-Customizable skins to make the player completely unique.
Well, I notice that your copyright is out of date. (it's 2007 now and all). Um...the visualizations are unimaginative, but some had some merit. The interface was very well designed...but it didn't let me load from a file. There was a equal mix of both good an bad things, but since this is your first game...that'll be a 7/10.
I plan on it next time I upload something ^_^ (just found out about it shortly after I made my last beta of my game, which isn't even on 64D yet)
*ahem* As for the review...
Very interesting, nice interface. However, it needs MP3 file support and not just CD playing. Also, an equalizer would be nice, but I'm not sure how you'd do that in GM...
9/10
PS, the word "Track" looks like "Crack" in that font. You might want to look in to changing that slightly ;)
