I played for a while, ending up with 4 preparers, 3 gatherers, and 10 hunters, when suddenly half my population went 'blaaargh' all at once and died because what appeared to be 5 tribes of enemy cavemen all appeared at the exact same time.
Cesque, not true. Berry bushes slowly grow, and if there are no full ones around you'll find that the gatherers just go and yank all the bushes out of the grown before you can barely even see them.

Fun game indeed. It ran rather slowly on my computer compared to the computers in college, even with everything off, but it was playable. It's a fun game, I just wish there was an indicator that an enemy was attacking your tribe, or maybe there is and I just didn't hear it. I had the sound off. 9/10 from me.

Ah, that explains why the moved from time to time. It's kinda lame, y'know :P
Also, another fun fact: Velociraptors are honourable beings and will not hurt non-hunters.
Cesque, play any retro game and you'll find it's two sided... enemies against you and maybe your team. The enemies rarely attack each other. If I were to make this game fully realistic there'd a lot of changes I could make.
None-the-less, we're considering that.

I just don't think it'd be that hard, and the opposite is very unrealistic. It's like GTA, where you fight with a gang and the police always shoot just you.
all i can say is that this is a jaw dropping game.
wow.
pure genius.
love it love it love it.
nice execution, graphics, sound, music, gameplay.
excellence.
