Hey everyone. I need to blog more often, but my laziness doesn't permit it. But anyway... I'm addicted to Angel Beats!, a new 13-episode anime currently airing on Japanese TV (with fansubs coming out 24-48 hours after the original airing). It's awesome. Yurippe is Haruhi Suzumiya on steroids with guns and purple hair. One of the best character ideas ever. I've made more progress on Elemaiden, and my spriter Ninji from here and DoujinStyle, has made some kickass new graphics, with more on the way. Falsely accused of smoking

So late last night, I was in bed, minding my own business, on DoujinStyle IRC, Robosquid IRC, and my instant messaging accounts. I had just finished playing a game of Daytona USA Deluxe. Soon after, I heard a knock on my door. It was my mom. She told me to let her in and give her whatever I was smoking. The thing is, I couldn't have given her anything because I wasn't smoking. I couldn't have let her in though, since my laptop and Nintendo DS were in my room, along with a bunch of things with USB cables that I don't use (No computer or video games in bed of course). She kept on demanding the cigarettes that I was supposedly smoking. She wouldn't leave. So now I can't use the computer or play video games for a month, plus my door's being removed. Seriously, what a bitch. In fact, I had no clue that there was the smell of smoke outside my room. From what I was able to deduce, it originated from the bathroom. But it wasn't visible, and the smoke detectors didn't pick it up. My mom never saw any smoke in my room (She would have, there were no windows open), and I had no cigarettes to give her. The smell was in the hallway, and not in my room. I told her to come into my room and smell the air because it was nothing like the air in the hallway; there was no smoke. I later told her to smell me for tobacco. She refused to do both, and the latter because she thought I used some trick to mask my odor. She was a teenager too. And she knew all the tricks. None of which I used, because I never smoked. And I told her this morning that if I smoked anything for experimentation, it would have been weed, and it would've been outdoors (obviously far away), so she wouldn't know. And it frustrates me that I have no way of proving I didn't have any cigarettes, or that the smell was coming from the bathroom. In fact, my mom told me that if I just admitted to everything, I would get everything back. Only problem here is that I haven't smoked. If I say I did it, she'll take it seriously as if I actually had done it. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with her? She refused to accuse my brother. Here's what she said to me.

I'll have you know that I lift weights (can't smoke otherwise that's pointless). And I'm a nerdcore speed rapper (you can't smoke if you want to go fast). If you know any possibilities as to how the smoke originated, let me know. It was from the bathroom in my hallway. Well, I'm back, people. Going to be here more often, now that I'm working on a game. Anyway, here it is so far. No complete storyline yet, and the way I'd put it is very unpresentable, so I'll wait until the big bad guy has a name. Wow, I've missed a lot.

Well, it seems RockyRan no longer decided to use the stuff I made for Project F-60, Marbs got himself into a commercial game (holy crap, I can't believe I missed that, congrats to him), and 64D is back up. I've taken up 3D modeling, and am currently working on Project Duostrike, a steampunk-themed 3D action RPG/fighter using the Unity Engine. It's going to be singleplayer with AI controlling the other character, with the option of playing with another person online. There may be 2v2 combat if we can get it working. Distribution has not been decided yet, though Steam seems to be the option of choice, and it may facilitate quite well. EDIT: Darth Revan and Dave lied to me about these models. Anna was created in 3D Custom Girl, an H-game. I should've known. Thanks to Kumori for finding this one out. Release date is unforeseeable, as the project is in very early stages (we have no storyline yet, let alone a title). Here's a render of Anna Meraleine, one of the two main characters that the player can control (Models by Dave, not me; I'm not that good yet):

The other playable character, her brother Alton, is still in the works. There are also various map models that have been prepared for level design. I'll have some teaser videos up when there's more that I can show. The Desralen Inquisition

The background sucks, I know. I'll work on it or replace it soon. In fact, I'm in need of artists, and anyone else who can help in any way, and is willing, please let me know. I also need the minor ramp fixed, as you can see in the screenshots. Storyline: The massive theocracy of Desralen, led by Larevail, a disillusioned High Disciple (or ruler of Desralen), started a holy war in the name of the god Vadeyah, in order to bring about conversion on a global scale. Religious toleration in the nation was revoked, and all citizens, even immigrants who followed the religion of their mother countries, were forced to worship Vadeyah. The army of Desralen was reinforced greatly, with no regard for the high taxes used for funding. The people of Desralen believed that the High Disciple is the voice of Vadeyah, so they did not question Larevail's actions, although there were some rebels, including the three Chosen (handpicked by the three other gods) , who planned to stage a rebellion in the country, and free the other nations from the clutches of the High Disciple. Players: 1 (up to 3 if netplay is implemented) Characters: Raziel - the Chosen of the god Görthalem. Above-average attack power and critical rate, decent defense, able to summon nature spirits and use powerful weapon attacks. Seraphina - the Chosen of the goddess Elvina. Weak physical strength and defense, but her ranged magical attacks make her the prime damage dealer if covered well enough. Gareth - the Chosen of the god Haregontus. The tank of the group, Gareth specializes in brute force attacks. He can take a beating better than Raziel or Seraphina, but his attack speed is the slowest of the three. He compensates with the ability to attack with wide (though not necessarily long) range attacks.
