Lot of Projects

This summer is a pretty good summer for me Gamemaker wise. I am currently working on three projects, and i am about to add another on onto the list. My current projects are DragonBall Z: Mini Boutoden Warriors, Project D.I.R. Society Morales Online, and I am going to start a new RPG pretty soon. DragonBall Z: Mini Boutoden Warriors To start off with you can find it here and this project isn't my solo project, I am working on this with Eltantillo. This progress is very very slow, be we are determined to finish this projecet. Project D.I.R. Project D.I.R. is a project of mine that I have always wanted to partake ever since I have started working with game maker. It stands for Dream Into Reality and it will have a complex story from my imagination that will try and capture emotions and things like RPG's should. I guarantee if like FF7's story, then you will like this. The website is on the way, so if you would like to check it out and see what it is all about, please hang tight. Society Morales Online S M O is an online game that I am working on at the moment. This is probably the project that I am most involved with. It is going real well right now, and I am proud of the progress made. Nothing more really to say other than you can find it here. Unofficial RPG I recently just thought of this, influenced by the game Wolf that I played on GMC. It influenced me to make a short RPG with like 10-20 min of game play, and leave the ending open to a sequel. This will help me with progressing Project D.I.R. and it will be cool to finish a RPG with some of my imagination installed. If I do follow through with this, the game will be highly detailed to make up for its short game play. But at the moment, this seems really fun to do. Thanks for reading, please leave comments!

Been A While

It has been a long time since I last blogged on the digits, and I don't have that much time to finish this one. But lately I have been working hard for school so that I can go to college and all this work has been leaving me only a little free time to do what I enjoy to do, which was mainly game making with GM. Later that little hobby that I put so much time and effort into turned into more and more hanging out with friends and what not, but I am now starting to come back to GM. I am now working on a couple of new games under CKG and I plan to stick with game maker for a while longer so it is possible that I may become active on this site now. Senar[New Aproach]

Hey Digits! I just thought of a new look for Senar. I recently made a blog like this stating: " August 25, 2006 The other day I was sitting in my computer chair browsing the GMC and after a few topics it came to me "why don't I have a symbol?". I had seen so many members with symbols(Not going to mention any names), so why don't I? So then I sat down and thought what was something that I love to look at(not to do) and Dice came to my mind. Dice are unique objects and are shown as random so I decided to use dice to represent "Senar". Now I am going to get custom Avatars, Banners, Icons, Intros, and so on with Dice and the name Senar before someone tries to steal it ;) Just had to get this out =D " My last aproach was Dice, but I have a new aproach, GUNS, and you can't tell me that isn't brilliant!!

Hiatus[RPG] Demo

This RPG is something that I have been thinking of for a while but I never had enough sprites to actually start but I do now. I am a good story-maker and now is the time to put it to the test. The battle engine is 70-80% done which is a good thing because the battle engine is what beats people up and prevents them from finishing. I forgot the most important part! The games name is Hiatus(working title) and if your not sure what that means you might want to look that up (Just playing it means a missing part). The game has a sort of a create-a-character but then again I wouldn?t name it that because you don?t get to choose, it is random on who you are. I don?t believe in posting W.I.P.?s so you don?t have to worry about me posting one. To start off with that guy is crazy! am I right? He is definatly a Gamemaker role model. All Fred Fredrick creations are flawless, From Hover Tank 3d to Linked to Ace High Over Verlor Island his games are flawless. Freds latest jaw dropping wip (untitled) is a top down shooter that reminds me a lot like halo. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y130/Jazzi_J/temp.png" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> The game is sort of 3d, and sort of 2d, the movement is smooth, the collisitions are perfect, and the graphics are beautiful. personal opinion: I think that this game is very nice even though it is just an engine, and I think that this game will go somewhere out side of the Gamemaker Community. Thats all that I know about his wip at the moment but be sure to be on the look out for this game.

Hiatus -RPG

Dataster - My game
April 11, 2007

Finaly I stoped being lazy and decided to write this blog, to start off with the games name is Dataster, it was released on 3.18.07 but it is just now hitting 64 and it is an arcade game. I started this game a while ago, just messing around with the crazy gamemaker ideas that I had and then I decided that this could actualy make a decent game, so o finished it. The deal about this game is that your goal is to get past your enemy's defences to score points. The game has a rock paper scissors concept which makes it cooler. I say its worth a try at least and if you don't like it you don't ever have to play it again, no one is making you. Yeah I know the screen shots look like crap but I am a way better programmer than I am a spriter so I left the sprites as blocks, please don't critize me on that. About the name, I made the name up on the top of my head so don't ask what it means =D. And I forgot to add this but for player 1 to move is wasd and to shoot is spacebar. For player 2 to move is arrows, and to shoot is keypad 0. I even got a staff review from Jabberwock Dataster is a nice concept, but it's very flawed in execution. Basically, each player (either a single player against the CPU or two human players going head-to-head) has a wall of moving colored blocks behind them, and they must try and destroy the other player's defenses. They accomplish this by firing one of three different colored squares at the other player's wall. These squares move pretty slowly, though, which gives the other player a chance to (maybe) block the square by firing one of the same color. If they don't block it, the square will keep on going and make a hole in your wall. If one of the enemy's squares gets through, you lose. I think this is a pretty good idea- nice and simple, but with the potential to be fun, especially against another human opponent. But the execution is very lacking. The game's main problem is that it is way too slow-paced. The squares move slowly, the players move slowly, the rate of fire is excruciating- and then, inexplicably, the players' walls move too quickly to ever possibly time a shot correctly. If the game were a little faster paced, it'd be a lot better. The graphics are very simple- just multi-colored squares- but I kind of like them. The font used, however, is extremely boring and un-stylish; I would've prefered one of those console-type fonts. I also like the two player aspect. If you want to gain bonus points with me, put in two-player hotseat mode. All in all, this is worth trying, but it's certainly nothing incredible. New Game In Progress

I have been working on this game for a while now, a couple of months before xmas, but i refer to this game as my graduation for graduating my newbie stages. I say that because when I was a newb i would work on a game for about a week or two, then come up with a new idea and start programming the new idea and forget about the old, but now I have the temtations, but I fight it. This is one of the longest W.I.P's I have been working on and I don't plan to quit it. About the game, the game is kind of a continuation of a game that I quit, but then its not because the story is different. I wanted to get my character to be introduced into a game, so I started the development of <b>Ankz Reminence</b>. This game is about <u>Ankz</u> finishing a war that no other can, during completing this game you will get stronger, unlock secrets, and uncover the story of <u>Ankz</u>. I plan to make a sequal(s) to this game but my first goal is to finish this game, so it can be my second complete game. My Banner

A few days ago I decided to change up my look, and I made concept art for the banner I wanted then put up a few topics requesting for someone to make a professional banner, but no one wants to. So my conclusion is to use the concept art (that I made in MS Paint) as my banner until I get a real one so the real news is that the ugly banner is here to stay!

New Game - Nos

Yesterday I sumited a game that I finished a while back, and I'm happy that I did. The reason why I am happy is because it was on the GMC for a few minutes, then in the next few days the topic was lost. Then I found 64digits and noticed how organized it is, and I know there is no way Nos can get lost. Check my games to play it. But anyways, Nos is a racing game where you race computers to get money, then you spend that money on customizing your car to make it fast, and unstoppable!
