…me and aeron have created a MMO using SOC but it lags badly, so we decided to use 39DLL (Well I'm using it not him) but I need some help with it. If you can help me add me on MSN (onl1n3@hotmail.co.uk). Thanks.
In other news: Some idiot on the GMC posted in the Game Creations forum with a link to artmoney and he said "this is a project that me and m8 were workin on for about 2 weeks". Some noobs will do anything for attention -_-.Yeah so….umm…..help me with 39DLL!Thanks,-0NL1N3-
I find it deeply ironic that someone with the username -0NL1N3- needs help with online code.
Idem. [:)]
lol SOC is easy to understand but 39DLL is more advanced.
I reckon most people who uses soc only use those direct scripts. Opinion base, I think direct is slow (if it is true then I can say slow is easy hahahaha).
I really think, using 39dll makes no difference. Have you tried my mmosoc, that is something worth trying. And don't use my PK_Engine too, I don't like my own engine, I bet it's 10 times slower then SOC's direct scripts.39dll and SOC are the same to me. I easily picked up SOC 3.X after little experiences at 39dll.Therefore I say it's not advanced. Although I try my best to bring a little more attention to 39dll then SOC. The only thing great with 39dll is you get full control of the buffer, move positions, know how much bytes you received, various use of formatting mode and other functions that can be used such as getting MAC address and file binary functions. If you need that then go 39dll, otherwise stick with SOC and learn the real thing because I think those scripts with 39dll are going to cause slower loading up the game.BTW I added you to MSN, I think I MAY help a bit (anything to show how good 39dll is compare to SOC).Good luck.- Toon-MasterThe direct scripts are made using the REAL soc. I like 39DLL better than soc becauseit has better functions and it comes with a pre-defined buffer which you can encrypt and decrypt. BTW I think you may have got my e-mail address wrong - onl1n3@hotmail.co.uk
Online code? Come on, that is a bit vague really JakeX… ;) If there was such a thing, I'd say it was PHP.
I'd preffer to pm you…
if i knew what that meant, i would probably help you
