Need help now!

Open the above in a new window to see the full screenshot.

For the blind people.

I know this is a short blog, but I don't know where else to ask. I don't know what's wrong. I need some help pronto because I just BSOD'd and I don't really want this to either keep happening or for me to drag it out so long that I can't fix whatever is wrong.

I'm on a laptop, and I haven't installed any new hardware in my system. I DID plug in my Xbox 360 controller a couple of times recently, but it wouldn't make sense that that would affect the video driver and I have actually used it to play games before… so I'm really confused here guys.

If you need any info, I'll try to get you what you need to help me. Hopefully someone can diagnose the problem and give me a solution from the screenshot.

I am…So confused…:(

What does the screenshot have to do with your BSOD?

I'd recommend a format if you're BSODing (easiest/cheapest way to try fix it), as well as just making sure your memory is seated properly. If it still continues to happen, it's probably your hardware.

Look at the blew specs, FsX. :P

1) Check memory, run memtest86

2) Get a new laptop. The solder might be coming loose :(

Can't tell if trolling or genuine issue . . .

Please provide the highlighted information:

I am so confused. What blew specs? I am looking at an image of tumblr.

Blue screen only happened once, I didn't copy down the information.

I just re installed my drivers correctly and it's still happening. So it definitely has to be hardware based. I'm guessing overheating. :(

Not sure what I'm going to do about that because I'm on a laptop… >_<

I think he was talking about the discoloration on the screen?

Some laptops have had issues with their on-board graphics because the cpu heat combined with the graphics heat could cause artifacts and other problems. But maybe something else is the problem. Usually one would have to endure painful customer service to talk to the laptop company about the issue unfortunately.

I've also had a couple issues with the xbox controller sometimes where it would bsod after the comp was on sleep mode, or high cpu usage trying to connect the controller. Porbably not related, but just an fyi.

Both of those are HIGHLY relevant to my current experiences.

I'll try to figure something out without calling tech support yet. I probably know more than half of the tech support guys. :P

Is it the discolouration that you're pointing out, or the text about the reprisal beta? Because I am still oh-so-confused. T_T
