Back to School! Yea you heard me, damn lazy northern hemisphere people with your sunny, sheep frolicking holidays….grrrr. T’would seem I haven’t delivered a blog for many moons and I'm super, 100% sure you’ve all missed me, cough cough. Well here’s my news/dot pointery:

- I’ve developed 3 crazy blurs that I’ve never seen released before. Here’s some examples using this <A HREF='http://64digits.com/users/Pheonix101/sourceblur.png'><b>SOURCE</b></A> picture:

<b>A Rotative blur</b>; rotates a surface around its mid point to make a cool effect (bet ya don’t know how to do that, im talking surfaces not sprites with those fancy x/y offsets). <A HREF='http://64digits.com/users/Pheonix101/rotblur.png'><b>CLICKY</b></A>

<b>A Radial Blur</b>; using an uber secret method <A HREF='http://64digits.com/users/Pheonix101/boxblur.png'><b>CLICKY</b></A>

<b>A brensenhems circle blur</b>; Invlolves drawing your surface at every point within a circle without going over any points.

- I’ve used my rotative blur in a cool new scope effect for my game. <A HREF='http://64digits.com/users/Pheonix101/Condemned_14.png'><b>CLICKY</b></A>

- I’ve been wondering whether I should call my game “Redemptionâ€? instead of “Condemnedâ€?. What do you think?

- For some strange reason FRAPS thinks GM is going at exactly twice the FPS that GM says its going…. Probally to do with the double buffering, I guess.

- I updated my lighting engines link…. only to fix some bugs but it might be worthwhile if your looking to use it.

Well apart from that extremely interesting (don’t deny it) news, My games slowly but spastically hobbling towards its first WIP release…. All I really need to get done is about 50% of the AI… which because of all the research I’ve done in FSM’s and node based combat im hoping will be something pretty special …. and possibly a menu.
