uhhhhh. oh yeah! particle designer 2.3 is out! so yeah, download it. its fun.
So most of the changes are just to fix problems that people were having with it. but the help is updated, it actually imports part_type_step and part_type_death now, the codebox has like no problems now… at least it shouldnt. also the interface bugs were fixed except for one of them i just found, and theres fading of the outlines… because it looks better. But you can see all that fancy information on the Official Page. Or you can also check out the GMC topic, which actually might have more info on it… well, post on that topic anyway, people just download the program without posting…
Did you fix that FPS bug?
Look like you aren't done :P
Great! I love this! It's a "Killer App"!
-Elmernite@Juju, yes, now it warns you if you set the crash prevention higher than the room speed, but it doesnt stop you…
@Gordon Freeman: I guess i looked over a few things. I really need a decent beta tester for these things…before it did allow you to put other letters in the box because of the negative symbol, but i can fix that problem and reupload it along with the other small problems i found.the text unfortunately goes out of the box because if you use the - and . symbols, it needs those extra characters. i can work on it, but that takes time, and im not too worried about it.as for the highlighted text, that would be nice.…but that also means id spend a week or so coding it, and i dont think im in the mood for that :P im sure it can be done, but it takes time to make it work.Highlighted text doesn't really take a week. If you want to invert the text color, blend modes will help.
@SquareWheel: Well, you would need to have the starting point, then highlight the amount of characters, and then select more than one line at a time, and make sure it is in view and you can only highlight the characters there etc. And then after that, writing over, or deleting that text would not only move the other characters down, but also delete lines when necessary, and stuff like that.
Although, making it able to highlight text in a single line wouldn't take too long.Looks pretty cool.
