So now with less time before school starts, I am still workin on the api that I was thinking would take me a lot less time than it has been to do.
Basically, when you get distracted with friends or other activities, I lost some motivation, and was only doing very little per day. But I am going to release it before school starts. And before that I will have a beta that people can try out.So onto the point, with this multiplayer api, would you be more interested in making online, achievement, and highscore games???My goal is to provide a useful system to save a lot of time, and focus on the gameplay, graphics, and overall professionalism of the game. Basically beat the shit out of YYG's collection and gain a good audience. (also i want to put it on my portfolio)…speaking of which i need to make my portfolio site. maybe the time between classes will help….So, minecraft. I made a custom painterly texture, then manually edited a bit of it to get it closer to the original. Here are some recent screenshots:The new rail built to connect North Founton to Shepton, and eventually Thiefton. The station in Shepton I made for the new rails. :)
I just want the serverlist, I've got everything else handled. =<
And achievements would be great if I could figure out what to make for them. I'm assuming you'll have an account system, so how are you going to attract users? The big downside to all games that use your API is that users will be forced to register in order to play. But in turn, that could offer a better experience; it's just getting them to register willingly.I have the server list down, but I am working on the basics for everything, since some things update the website.
But,So basically, we'd need to accommodate for those people who have no accounts, and give them an option to name themselves?
Actually, I think that shouldn't be too hard. Also, image scaling broke :(
