So im at my uni right now (Lawrence Tech Uni), but this laptop cannot play minecraft very well on lower settings. So i'll blog. D:
I like uni. So much better than community college, because everyone at uni wants to have a fun time, but still do well in school since they are paying for it. Unfortunately it takes a lot of time away because right now I commute to school, which wastes a lot of time. Of course my dad is only concerned with the costs, but would let me move out. I just have to afford it!Here is a very small tour video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYPoEpeXdt4Anyway here is a little poll I guess on what you would anticipate most out of these choices:Skydiver Mach II - highscores and achievementsCell Burst - online multiplayer, scores, and achievementsA new multiplayer scrolling shooter based on mouse movement and nice effectsThe World's End - online multiplayer (scores, achievements)Also, to kilin, jid, etc. I'll post a new version of the api when i get home and fix one little bug. Joining works on 127.0.0.1, but id like to test it over a different network ;)
I'd be surprised if my game gets any votes.
Im probably going to do skydiver first, then cell burst, then make my new game.
Idk, yours will be pretty cool to play I think. Out of those choices id expect yours to get the most since my new game i havent even begun to think about.@JID: Well my game's not even up there. =D
To be fair though, it's not nearly as far along as TWE.But yeah, I've been being a bit lazy with it. Been meaning to mess with the API a bit but I didn't have too many people to do connections tests with (could've done it on a local network, prefer nonlocal for most realistic results).Yeah I added some temporary stuff for local server testing of the lobby, but didnt upload it yet.
I recommend playing around with it once I get the gameplay message testing to work as well. Hopefully that will be tonight but at the latest it will be this weekend. After that I will work on step-by-step documentation to follow so that you can make it work easily, even if you have no 39dll programming knowledge. (Plus itll motivate you ;))Right now, it's the motivation I find most valuable.
I know what you mean. I used to drop games because I wasnt motivated, but now seeing other people working on things, and yoyo at its state, it makes me want to make them.
Plus then I can always say that ive done it. :DOh, you flatter me Kilin.
woo uni
part of the reason I've only looked at the api three times D:Dont worry ill be updating it shortly
