Progress with promise

So, I'm back again. Just really busy and tough to do everything. Which is what I am working on improving.

But before I go into the announcements that will happen soon this week, I would like to quickly announce some starting details on this project that everyone has heard about:

AGAPI.

Here a couple images to sum up what is going on, incase you were living under a ROCK:

So basically, before, the system was based around a website. Particularly, the AG website.

Now, I think it would be much more convenient to be able to do registration and friends lists and everything right in the game and make the requests this way. This is especially because games are becoming increasingly multi-platform. (And multi-distributor)

Games that will be released on this system will still need to go through a reviewing process, but my hope is that the ease of use will inspire people to make games that can get recognition.

I also have a few people that are interested in working on this project to bring it to this level, and I have a system to collab better on it. This will hopefully solve the time issue and get the project out ASAP, you know?

Just thought i'd release the first update blog for you guys

Looks legit, I like the idea of having registration and whatnot accessible in game. Is this limited to GM?

You know I've always been a fan of your API and this is looking great!

@aeron: The API is basically how the game communicates to the server. The resources for the UI will be provided with details of the server connection, but the first example will probably be done in GM:Studio as a starting point (unless of course someone wants to do a different version).

The reason for this is because GM is a quick game-making engine, so one person could develop a game, add this to it, and greatly increase the functionality and hopefully then the appeal of the game.
