I like how you have the map of the old minecraft server link, 64digits. Sometimes I come on here and read through the blogs until I've read it all, and then I click on the map link and plan out what I should do next.
So I thought about posting about how it would be fun to start up that server again and continue rebuilding and fixing up the server using our improved architecting skills from playing new maps in new versions. However, everytime I think about asking if we should host the map again, I think back to just how much time I put into the game, which would limit the time I have for actually developing things. I have to remind myself… if the server is put up again, I know it will consume my free-time and limit how much I get done. Such a conflict of interest.I am wondering though, because hosting the map would consume a lot of server resources, would it make sense to only host the server for say half a week at a time if people would be interested in playing it again?I may get back to this thought later….v4 suggestion, save a blog as draft…
+1 on save blog as draft; when I need to I make a blog private and not on front page, but it's not quite the same as a draft.
I was a part of those ten people who didn't show up the next day. My problem is that I can't stand FTB, no program should require more than 4GB of memory and several minutes to start up. It would be nice to have a nice casual server to pick up, play, and hangout on, but FTB just takes over my computer and I can't do anything else.
yeah minecraft is already enough of a drag on my computer. That's why I've never bothered with FTB, it only sounds appealing if you have a really high end computer I think.
As much fun as I used to have on Minecraft, I just can't get back into it anymore. Performance of heavily modded packs is usually fine for me, it's just the game itself I can't really do anymore. :/
