I am brushing off the cobwebs of my account for an announcement of which I'm very excited to announce. After several long years from 2008 to 2014 I am nearing the completion of my game "Hack Attack", a TDS about this guy whom does a virus scan on his computer and discovers that his computer is infested to the brim with viruses and spyware. The virus software says it'll take a very long time to fix and decides that there is no time for that before his computer becomes completely fried. so he hacks his AV software into a shooting game to make getting rid of viruses a bit more fun and interesting instead of staring at his computer with gloom as it becomes a desolate wasteland of data.
I've procrastinated on this project over the span of 6 years, but enough is enough. The game has gone over a major overhaul since the first time I started working on the game, from graphical improvements to updating the behaviors of the enemies and bosses. Can't really tell ya much due to the fact that honestly the game isn't very long and if I post too many screenshots I'll give away too much of the game. So without further ado, a side by side comparison of how the game has been updated through screenshots from earlier to the current build from Stage 1 levels 1-3 and the boss plus Stage 2 level 3 using my favorite power up:-The game has been updated from a 4:3 Aspect Ratio to a 16:9 at 720p resolution. simply right click on the updated version images to see full size--The 2014 update also includes an unrestricted camera, yay for being unobstructed while playing-Alrighty Stage 1 level 1 2008: And its 2014 update: Stage 1 Boss 2008:2014 updated version:Stage 2 Level 3 2008: 2014 update: And with that a quick look at Hack Attack, coming this year (but hopefully this month)The game features newly done graphics and original music. Although there is still room for improvement here and there, I shall keep at it. Have a nice day!Game Announcment: After several long years (2008-2014)...
