This is the sixth annual dance concert featuring the award-winning, nationally acclaimed Bolingbrook Park District Danceforce. For the past five years this annual dance concert has surprised and entertained sell out audiences with incredible dance and choreography along with dazzling lighting, costuming, sets and special effects.

Unplugged allows the dancers and choreographers to take a completely new and different direction with their work. The focus of the concert is the dancer and the dance. No frills, no bells and whistles, but instead, excellence in its most simplistic and natural state. The concert promises to mix ingenious, professional dance with the Danceforce “signatureâ€? style, along with creative lighting and costuming in a manner that will reach audiences on the most honest, basic and sincere level.

135 dancers of all ages will come together for this concert. Some dancers and pieces were recently featured in Dance Chicago and will be included, as well as the choreography of award-winning Katrina Amante, Lindsey Jones, Lynette Puzon, Dionna Pridgeon, Brian Rabenda, Jeanne O’Connell, Bev Bautista, Chelly Benzinger, Desiree Pepper-Venzant and Stacey Archer-Little, with some new work by Molly Ghahtani.

Hawthorne Credit Union is the premiere sponsor for Danceforce Unplugged, making this their fifth year of support for Danceforce and the Bolingbrook Park District.

Tickets are available for purchase at the Bolingbrook Park District Recreation and Aquatics Complex and the Annerino Community Center, general admission, $12, special admission for children 3-9 years old and senior citizens, $5. Tickets will also be available at the door, general seating. Avoid missing your chance on a sell out night as well as the ticket lines, and purchase your tickets in advance.
