Soon, all the speculation will be over, and we will know which is the best of the next generation. Who will it be?
XBox360?PS3?Or Nintendo Wii?(they were put in release date order, nothing else)Well, I plan on giving a little bit of speculation on how this will turn out, and I will also try not to be as opinionated.First, the PS3 release later this week. There will be a line out of every electronics store, full of sony fans, wanting to get a hold of the PS3. Soon the store opens and the fans rush in. Soon though, several exclamations of "What the ****?" will echo through the store as many unsuspecting fans will notice the high price for both the console and the games. By the time the 3rd one was sold to the 3rd person who could afford it right off the bat (about 34% of the line now), all the game consoles would be sold out. Soon, complaints will be sent all over the internet and G4 about console shortages, and just about everyone who got the console will start complaining about failures in the system, rendering the console a useless $1000 piece of junk, seeing as Sony couldn't replace them in time. Soon, Sony pulls the plug on the PS3 from the millions of dollars lost to the PS3, and Sony fans go on a rampage on the internet, throwing out all the bad consoles (96% of them). Sony is now out of the game console race untill they either re-start the PS3, or try to make a better game console, not a crappy multi-media center computer.Second, the Wii launch (early next week). Lines, though not as long, but longer than they would have been due to the PS3 drop, are out side the store, full of Nintendo fans and PS3 former-fans. Soon, the stores are open, and people rush in. Not as many people leave because of the price, now it's more of what they were expecting, but there are still a few. Many more people leave with the Wii, and several of the launch games for them, but there are still shortages. The shortages are quickly fixed though, and there are fewer malfunctioning units, and those that are messed up are quickly replaced. There are still some complaints about the shortages of consoles and there are some people who insist that the Wii sucks, but they are bairly heard from all the praise that the console gets from the start. On contrary to what some PS3 fans say, most people don't mind jumping around their living rooms, bed rooms, or dens, infact, most usualy are relaxing on the couch, playing their Wii with only movement of the hands, some even playing other Wii owners over the internet. Over all, the Wii turns out better than the PS3, and many are glad to find great graphics on the console, without a High-Def TV.Ok, I lied, I am opinionated, but at least I didn't go out and yell "PS3 SUCKS! Wii ROCKS!" I think that these outcomes are possible, and I didn't come up with some wild and crazy idea for how the PS3 will fall. I blame it on these 3 factors. High cost, limited availability, and experimental technology. None of these facts were made up (hence why they are called facts), and I tried to give it a realistic end.But hey, even if it turns out to be the other way around, and the PS3 wins, then it's not the end of the world. Heck no. I may be mad, many of us may be mad, but wii'll live, and still get a Nintendo Wii if we want to. Just because Nintendo lost the last round, didn't mean you couldn't play the Game Cube and play great games on it, it just ment that it didn't get as much popularity. The same goes here, if Nintendo dosen't win this round, that dosen't mean the Wii is gone, infact, it can still come back. It's not over untill the next generation past the Wii, PS3, and 360. It's not over.~BenRKPS3 SUCKS! Wii ROCKS!

I shall remain quiet, but this isn't a forum.that was stupid…I dont know about those wii lines, everyone I talked to seems to want a wii (im talking about in real life)
I think they will probably be really really long and a lot of people wont be able to get a wii =( (probably I wont be able to get one)It's almost as if no one does any research <_<
>_><_<>_><_<>_><_<>_>Ha, the name "Wii" sucks. I get to tell my friends now, "Wanna come over and play with my Wii?"
But, despite the name, it will own the market. This is not my own opinion (well, it is), I've seen stuff all across the internet, people are supporting Wii more than anything else.
