I haven't been on as of late (2 days maybe? I wasn't counting), but at least it's the weekend (for me). FINALY some time to sleep in past 6:30am!!! Finaly, it's the end of first quarter! FINALY I get back to work on Zeta8 (That golf game never made it out of my head)! I think I'll keep with sprites for buildings and units and use 2D polygons for the terrain. Sound good? Good. Now time to go idle on it again.
Anyway, last night, I went to this brass concert at the high school. I got in free, seeing as I'm the lead (read, only) trombone player of the school band. I enjoyed my self, but sitting still for 2 hours isn't comfortable (read, hurts like heck). And I learned something funny. Now, don't take this word the wrong way, it's compleatly harmless, and it dosen't mean what you think it means. The word is, Sacbut. Sacbut. Sackbutt. It may sound like something wrong and discusting, but it means Trombone. I'm not kidding here! I'm the only one in the band (and the teacher) who really knows what that means, and I'm going to have fun on monday. And I never knew this small town of mine had so many old people.~BenRKSilly Germans!
