Most of you will have probably heard of the GMTech magazine. Whether you like it or not, is another matter. See, I was wondering if I could have some suggestions for something I’m contributing towards the magazine.
Since Issue 16 has very recently been released, work on Issue 17 has begun. Now, like in Issue 16, I’ve been asked to find four GameMaker games that I think deserve more credit than they’ve received. You know, the games that are hidden beneath the masses of garbage present at YoYo Games and really haven’t had the justified exposure. Then I have to give them a small review. Now, since this site is based around GameMaker, I was thinking that perhaps some of you have got ideas of games I could choose to review. I really would be grateful for your input. So, any ideas? Thanks in advance. On a side note, I made a banner, so I now I don’t have the default 64Digits one. You like?- Broxter
that's a nice banner. I LIKE THE LEFT BIT >:|
Anyway, as for games… I'm not so much paying attention to GM as not, so I can't help :<Haha, nice banner. :)
Thanks, I'm pretty impressed with it myself.
I totally beat you to the left bit :P but it is nice.
I would say review Frank, but I don't even have a demo yet. :(
Sorry PY! Didn't know you had a smilie like that on your banner… Maybe I got subconcious inspiration.
Is Frank your game, eagly?Yep.
Magazine… but not physically existent… on the internet…
…MAGAZINE? ON THE INTERNET?Bs.I would be really narcissistic here and suggest CG but I'm not sure the cretins at YoYo would quite understand what I'm trying to do with CG. It'd be nice if you covered the 64D community game at some point as well =)
On a side, there isn't much tech in the GMTech magazine. It isn't exactly bleeding-edge stuff.Yes, a magazine on the internet. There are loads of online publication on a vast range of topics.
I'll think about CG, Juju. Oh, and there will be a featurer about the GMCG in the next issue - it will aslo include details about yours. And, yeah, the magazine name is a tad misleading, I guess…
