64Brawl Poll [Kilin]

Hey, guys, it's Kilin back with more news on 64Brawl. I've been working on a few select characters. Here's some news for people wanting to know.

As of March 15, the ST man has been taken out as a character and replaced as an assist trophy. Due to the mouse operations, he would be too different from the other characters.

The ST man stays. Give your thanks to Obelisk.

As of March 16, three new characters have been added.

So, now for the poll. Just to make sure you don't miss it, I'll put it in a really big font, or more of a heading.

64Brawl Poll 1

(See? I told you I'd make it really big.)

Poll Topic

In all Super Smash Bros. games, the method of health is a damage counter, where more damage causes you to fly further. Later games (or just Smash Bros. Brawl) allow you to use a sort of HP system, where running out of stamina throws you out of the game just as running out of stock on a normal match.

Due to the difficulty of a damage-based system, I'm letting the users decide. Which method would you prefer?

A. Damage counter, where higher damage makes you fly further

B. HP counter, where running out of HP causes you to die

Votes/Results

A…………………………………………….7

B…………………………………………….0

Also, whenever I have a character, item, stage, or assist trophy update, I'll post it in a neat little blog, clearly labeled "CHALLENGER APPROACHING!" or something like that. It'll be pretty obvious when I have someone completed.

Remember that character updates will only be issued between the time that its programming is half done and completely finished.

Stay tuned for updates, go ahead and vote. We'll see which method we'll be using. Of course, if we get really high scores for both and nearly tie, then I could implement both. Just remember that it would take longer in doing so.

Thanks for reading.

@serprex: Nah, I need to learn platform multiplayer, though. Porj was pretty bad at calculations.

@PSM: You did? ;(

So, damage it is. Lemme mark the results.
