Well, first of all, I've been playing a little Brawl lately. I went through the Subspace Emissary and beat the whole thing on intense, INCLUDING Tabuu. My awesome team, from which I only used three, were Toon Link, Wolf, and Sonic. For all of you guys having a hard time with him, here are some hints.

On intense, pretty much every hit is a one-hit KO. Let's go over each specific attack to find out how to dodge it. It's really pretty easy. It's all about dodging, and I highly recommend Toon Link to take out half his health with the downward stab.

The most devastating one, I call the shockwave. He goes into the background and gets pretty little butterfly wings. The idea here is to get on the ground as fast as you can, put on your shield, and wait for the first wave. When it comes by, quickly press down on the control stick and you'll do a sidestep dodge. Repeat twice more to finish it.

Another frustrating one could be the LAZER. You'll notice his movements and he'll be towards the ground near the edge for a few seconds, then a black and red birdlike thing will appear and FIRE HIS LAZER. Just make sure you're on the ground when he starts to make that movement so you have enough air time.

Another fun one is what I call the cage. A quick movement, and he'll scoop you up into a cagelike thing, and throw you to the ground, throwing you out of the screen. Simply jump to avoid it.

Well, there are a bunch of other moves, but they're either really easy to dodge, or won't kill you with a single touch. So, have fun with him.

64Brawl

With the 64Contest over, it's back to 64Brawl. I checked up on it pretty recently, and probably will need to begin the damage engine rather than worry about characters.
