Introduction? I hate those things. They never explain anything.

Hey guys. I was just designing a bit of the world in CFL. And just to clear things up, it's not life from a cellular level, it's life from an external level. You care for the lixies' needs and at hard times, use injections.

Monitoring cells would be fun, but the idea of a platformer life sim is even better.

I was designing the world yesterday.

Anyway, I noticed that it really has no visual appeal as far as backgrounds go. It's pretty plain and lacks decoration.

So what? That's your fault.

Ah, but that's why you're here! I'm looking for either of two things, both artists. If you're especially good at pixel art, I really need a series of backgrounds or tiles just for appearance.

If you're better at 3D modeling, those would work just fine, too. Pretty much any kind of model is okay and will be used.

Okay, what am I supposed to make?

Patience. I can give a list of various environments and desired backgrounds, or if you want to be creative, you can make something up. The idea is to add a bit of ambiance.

Ambiance? Who cares about ambiance?

Would you like to play a game with only about three background colors?

Err…no…but…

Then it's settled. Just little bits of background would be awesome. If you need something to help motivate you, I'll arrange something.

You mean money?

If that's the only thing that you're working for, then yes. But if you happen to have an extra scene that you think I can use, it would be awesome.

What if I'm not an artist?

You know, screenshots are always useful for backgrounds. Spare screenshots would work, too.

Anything else?

Yeah, voice acting. The lixies are capable of speech.

Voice acting for lixies? But that takes a cute voice, right? What if my voice is more burly?

If you're good at making creature sounds, it works. It also works for tougher monsters.
