If you've seen any of my recent blogs, this will make sense to you. But before I go about my content, let me say that if you've come here to jeer or otherwise insult anyone who posts here, please leave now.
This is a community activity. So far I've seen a small list of users who currently play World of Warcraft, and being a 64Community, I figured it couldn't hurt to interact on a game as well as on the site. In other words, some people have IRC, others have different ideas. What I'd like to do here is get a signup sheet of people who currently play and would like to reroll and level on a different server. We've decided to play on Kel'Thuzad/Alliance.If you're going to sign up, you can put down what race/class combo you want to be. Also, depending on how many of each faction we have, we're going to have a <64Digits> guild. This will be led by our neighborhood-friendly Arcalyth.Arcalyth will be taking leadership of the activity and editing this blog as he thinks of more details. You can ask him for details if you're really interested.See you in-game.- KilinArcaEdit: I have about a bazillion guest passes (as well as four Refer-A-Friend passes that grant 3x experience), so if you want to try out the game you can. If you want a RAF pass then you need to guarantee me you're gonna keep playing or it's kinda a waste (they don't recharge :<)People that are playing so far:ArcalythKilinRawrSpoon (trial)
Now what you have to ask yourself is would you rather play a shooter…or get eaten by these things?
You'll have to tell me how much it costs later.ARRRAAAARBLBALRBLARBALGHGHGGBBLGGLLLLLL.
Oh yeah, now the secret why Arc doesn't have time to work on v3 is revealed. D:
Who said I didn't have time to work on v3?
WoW is a pretty crappy game, not very fun for more than an hour. I played it for a few months.
@Kaz: 3 months, 40 seconds per day, right?
Yeah, I never saw the appeal either. KOTOR for life! Can't wait for their MMO.
*Blows brain through head*
I once played WoW with some friends, but not in the official servers, I played on one of those 'private servers' that had 10x rates and plenty of bugs. Even at 10x I found it to be very slow and boring. There are only a few types of quests:
-Kill X amount of things-Collect X amount of things-Kill and collect X amount of things-Speak to a X NPC or object with a giant question mark over it.Heck, even Runescape's quests are more interesting and elaborated. Then when you finally max out your level there's nothing else to do but go on raids, which force you to sit down a few hours to get it done, and it was on servers that had very bugged instances, I can't imagine how annoying would these be in retail.
