Remember the time I said I was going to live with my uncle for the summer? Yeah, well he lives in Laramie, which is a moderately-sized town, pretty nice except for the goddamned weather. We've had high winds, storms, and not a wink of sun (in comparison).
So it shouldn't surprise me (but it did), that we have some severe weather alerts around here. It was pretty nice yesterday, warm, even a little hot. Today it was cool and cloudy with a bit of wind. We were doing some yardwork, planting a new lawn and checking prices on a sprinkler system. My uncle and grandpa drove to Cheyenne (capital for those who failed first grade) to buy some of the stuff we needed. Turns out, there's a tornado forming over there, and we have the same weather alerts as they do.So if I'm lucky, I'll get to see my first tornado, eh?The good news is that tornadoes here aren't as bad as the ones where Obel lives, but it's still enough to do some damage.Hopefully this means I won't have to go in for work tomorrow.
You go to your uncle's house to work?
I love wind.I love wind too, it makes me feel presence O.o
strange…I love wind, too, but winds here in Europe usually don't try to kill you :P
Bad news kids. The storm just missed us and Kilin didn't die.
Sorry to disappoint you all. =(Also Ferret, I live at my uncle's house and go to his work, which is in the GIS department at a university as an IT guy.The tornado accidentally Kilin! I am dissappoint.
