So I Did a Remix or Three

I'm bored to the point where I think you guys actually care about things people do (</3). I'm also trying to see where my talent lies. It's not in graphics, so don't get me started. Is it in programming? Maybe. How about music? That's where YOU, the beloved 64user, come in.

I've been into music composition for a while, as some of you know, and I do a lot of my own tracks. While I could show you the more original ones, I think you might question my ability to compose (;_;), so here are some remixes I did of various video game songs that I liked. For the most part, I tried to be accurate.

If you recognize any of these games, feel free to mention, because they're not that well known.

Let's start with the one I felt I did the best. The other two won't show in YouTube tags, so I'll link them instead.

Rune Factory is the game I've been playing most recently. I've come to enjoy it for the most part, and it's got a pretty basic (but later pretty in-depth) story. In fact, all three of these games have one thing in common: I liked the stories a lot. Well, two things. They're all RPGs. And all of them started in Japan.

AHAHAHAHAH. Ahem, excuse me.

The first verse in this remix is supposed to sound a lot like the actual track, which was kind of hard because I couldn't figure out what the hell the lead instrument was.

The second verse, I added my own actual remix, and I thought it sounded alright.

This one's logo is lower quality, because I couldn't find out what YouTube's aspect ratio was. This one I felt I didn't do all that well in, but it was still fun anyway.

I liked this game too, and though it doesn't have an English release, it's a must-play for Earthbound lovers.

*sniff*

I loved this game. It was one of the best RPGs I've played, and did very well in its story. It's one of the few games I'd actually bother to buy instead of emulate, if only SNES games like this were still sold.

I'm not going to say much else. You've probably wasted plenty of time by coming here, but before you leave, please sign these papers.

What do you think of each of the tracks? Good? Bad? M-m-mediocre? I'd appreciate some feedback from you, the treasured 64D user.

*cough*

lol at first it sounded terrible, and I was like "what is this? cluster-core?" but then I realized I had some DnB playing in the background :P

The first song sounded good. Still sounded like battle music if that is what you are going for…

Second and third one are alright.

Never heard of any of these games.

Dunno if I made percussion too quiet. I think that it sounded blotted out during the second verse, even though I stepped up its volume.

And I had the best for first, because I really liked how it turned out.

And these games aren't hugely popular titles, so I don't blame you.
