My devlogs do horribly, so here's a nice change of pace. It's an update blog, so if you for some reason find something you relate to, feel free to say something. But no pictures. Sorry FSX and Cesque.

Summer break is here!

Now I'm wasting every day doing nothing because I never made plans, and my paycheck is gradually shrinking because of summer hours. Yesterday I played a few games, did some reading, mowed my fucking lawn, and worked on a game. I did more in a day than I usually do in a week. Yet I still feel…incomplete.

I got Magicka from the Sixty Fools Digits contest and actually started it up the other day. I have to say, the game is much more interesting than I thought it would be. And I hear it's very oriented toward multiplayer, too. So if anyone owns the game and wants to have fun owning teaching a newbie, let me know. I know RawrSpoon is one.

I also played Tera on beta weekend. I have to say, I was a bit skeptical at first but it turned out being pretty fun. I think it could be vastly improved but for now I think I'm going to stick with it, mostly because I have a few friends to play with, including my brother and his girlfriend, and your neighborhood friendly Purianite.

Needless to say, that will keep me pretty busy for the summer.

RPG comp? Oh yeah. I've been doing a little more design work. It's going to be fun to compete when people have RPG Maker and these premade engines. But at least I didn't choose to do C++. That would just be hell on a stick.

This will be a fucking interesting summer.

Oh yeah, and writing another novel starting next month. But I've already got a head start. Should I feel guilty or productive?
