64Completition - An Announcement

Posted by Castypher on Nov. 11, 2013, 5:57 p.m.

It's officially been two months since I've last heard from our bundle provider. Due to complaints from a few disgruntled users, I've decided to lift the restriction on distributing your games. Here is the bundle for those who are interested. You're all free to post your game on 64Digits, GameJolt, YYG, or wherever else you see fit.

Here is the download link. Please note that this link is temporary:

Please remember that this was a simple competition reward we were taking for a test drive, and we all knew that it wasn't going to be everything we wanted. I tried to convince people not to get their hopes up, yet some still did. I'm disappointed at the turnout regarding the bundle but the games themselves were excellent and I just wanted to say I'm proud of you all for finishing and openly defying the 64Digits Constant.

Other users have mentioned wanting to see a 64Digits-distributed bundle. While I don't personally think we can justify making any money off of it, I do think we should have a page dedicated to competition bundles, readily available from the main page.

Competitions seem to be a big part of this site, so I hope to see success in future competitions.

Good show, everybody. Shame about the bundle, but we still got some nice games out of this little competition.

Now to release Magical Castle everywhere and not let anyone know of its existence

HEY, LET'S ALL DROWN KILIN IN IRONY.

…Said 64Digits.

Also, a few people have expressed interest in doing review blogs on the Completition games. I'd like to both encourage and request everyone to download this package, play the games, and do some minor reviews at the very least. I'll be doing one myself. Your contributions are much appreciated.

new version of Maiko is like half speed… so only play this version if you want migraines.

I actually really liked that version of Maiko, it was ok once you got used to it.
