I wanna be a man with better internet

Posted by Cosine on May 12, 2011, 9:04 p.m.

My internet is terrible. I, at most, will get 150 kb/s. God help me if more than two people are using it, because then it drops to 50 kb/s. My upload speed is much worse. You can imagine the pain I go through when I finish a game. "Hi, two hour uploads!" I say quite often. "I hate you, very, very much." This makes me pretty strange, talking to my internet speed.

In other news, I have (a) final(s) in a week. Whether or not I take a final or two is still unknown because one of my teachers is batcrap crazy and can't keep a class schedule to save her life.

Here is a nice picture.

RamboFox is the reason 64Digits is broken. I mean, look at how many times it put him on the active users. It's no wonder his MP item doesn't work for him.

My ISP is grrrrrrrrrrrrreat for downloading furry porn playing CoD Black Ops! =D

Also, 3g network, yadayadayada. That's why it's pumping 'dem 'roids.

I still find it funny that Venezuela's entire internet has to pass through Miami.
Wanna hear something even more stupid? My university is ~27km away from my home. One day I did a traceroute from my home to one of the servers I manage at my uni, just for the heck of it. I was surprised when I found that all my traffic went from my home to Miami and then back to my university. A >2000mi trip to get to a computer 27km away from me. Later I learned that my country's ISPs aren't interconnected. What a shame.

I've always wanted to do this.
