So, Blizzard just announced their new IP! It's a class-based shooter with a cartoony Pixar look to it, and some very obvious TF2 influences in terms of gameplay. The big discussion now is if this game is gonna be any good or not. Form your opinions from these videos (and not by actually playing the game, of course!) and discuss:
Personally, I'm looking forward to how this turns out. Most of what I don't like about TF2 is how cluttered and chaotic all the new weapons have made everything. If Overwatch can keep the gameplay more structured, I'll be a happy camper.
I have never played TF2, but I'm still looking forward to this. I have played LoadOut over 160 (in-game), so I think I need a new multiplayer shooter: nothing is more satisfying than shooting a whining troll you have never heard of, but who thinks s/he is better than you!
It looks cool, however it would be cooler if a game like this was released on a console and you could play split screen like the good ol' days. Or at least release it on console so it can be LAN'd more easily.
PC i feel is usually more competitive, which is great, but this looks like a fun game that isn't as competitive looking. But I may be wrong, it is blizzard after all.
