check out that complex rain particle system!! its not complex at all ^^ but it looks it.HOWEVER, I still need to program in the new, sleeker, sexier HUD, as well as some fill-in tilework for the black space… any creative ideas that go beyond dark monochrome squarized rocks?on a side note, LOOK HOW MUCH IVE DONE FROM SCRATCH. THIS PROJECT IS ABOUT 3 WEEKS IN AND I SWEAR, I FIRST STARTED THE VERY FIRST PROGRAMMING FOR THE FIRST DEPTHS, AKA 'CRIMSON STAR' more than 2 fucking years ago. having already invented and settled upon a plot, character, a list of environments, a soundtrack, a whole games-worth of sound fx, and YES, EVEN A NAME, it seems remaking depths from scratch was the most productive thing ive done in forever.

I demand that that background produces a bloom effect or that the foreground is brightened.
I also care what RC thinks. But as for GHG… jk! but I don't think it needs bloom or too much atleast

The game doesn't look that dark to me… I actually like how it looks so far, I just wish the rain was a bit more visible. The game looks great keep it up. :)

I'm fine with the new style, but the foreground and background seem to have a bit of contrast to each other, I would agree with the idea of some bloom effects as well.
WELL I DON'T KNOW HOW TO RENDER BLOOM EFFECTS.
