Hello again!

So, last post I touched on a game I'm working on, which is titled Chronicles of the Hchrubak.

Over the past few weeks, I have been re-writing the entire storyline and script, and finally finished it yesterday at 54 pages of dialogue. The following is a brief overview of the story background.

Chronicles of the Hchrubak tells the story of a small child who was raised basically as a scientific experiment, being a test tube baby. Due to past experiments, he has the physical and mental abilities of someone three times his age. The boy, called Arex, generally only has contact with the lead scientist of the project; a woman named Bira. Inevitably, Arex and Bira develop affection for one another.

However, the research company believes that Bira is getting much too tangled with the subject and so have released her from their service.

Several months later, the company prepares to declare the project a failure. However, the Blurex, an alien race long parted from their planet and caught in a civil war with themselves, have arrived with the intentions of stripping the planet of its resources and using it as a shipyard. During the first hour of contact, many cities are razed, and some smaller buildings are destroyed, including the facility holding Arex.

Everybody in the facility but him dead, Arex leaves for the nearest city, where he discovers the Hchrubak Resistance: A small sect of the Hchrubak military that was not destroyed in the initial attack.

Now Arex must embark on a journey that could save the Hchrubak race.

So, yeah that's the basis of the story, which eventually stretches into 13 levels of the story.

I sent the script to my level designer and he should begin roughing up some levels, while I refine the engine which I already created.

After the engine is refined I plan on looking into some graphics people, as well as music and sound designers, and possibly voice actors, which is a big possibly.
