Wow so I haven't posted since May, and since then a lot of things have changed for me. Consider this my 4k hits celebration.

For one I forgot about Star Wars day this year. Maybe it's a sign about how much George is sucking the past few decades.

I've temporarily halted work on my Star Destroyer because holy crap there's so much detail to do in the trenches. It's just a break though, so don't fear that I've crapped out on yet another project. I've been experimenting in Sketchup as of late and actually done some really high quality stuff. For instance I designed and modeled a star freighter, but I modelled every I-beam and electrical conduit into the wall before I made the panels, floorboards, and complete articulation cargo crane. It's been a very boring summer.

Probably the biggest thing though (and I realize I arrived a little later than the rest of the herd) is that I am completely and totally hooked on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. A while ago, while I was still in school, I decided I would very much like to make fun of the people who watched it, so I decided to watch an episode to find things I could use against them.

And that was it.

I watched the entire season in a week, watched several dozen mashups and PMVs and finished the month by going 24 gigs over my 10 gig limit.

I am now a brony, and I've even converted my friend. I don't know how to explain it, but it's just gotten a hold of me and according to my family completely and utterly changed me. My parents hide thier shame behind a mask of low-key hostility, and my sister calls me Ponyboy. I don't really blame them, I mean I pretty much embarrassed mother when I bought a Fluttershy toy from Wal-Mart.

I just can't express how much I love it.

I finally got my driving license. I passed the exam with only one demerit, which was hesitation during a left turn.

So what do I do 9 days after I get my license? I don't hesitate during a left turn my first night driving in town at night and promptly hit another car. It was my fault and I'm still waiting for an estimate from the other party about the damage (some scratched paint - it was a very light bump actually) but my parents seem to think it'll cost me from $1,000 to $1,500, which is not very comforting because I still can't find a job and I am pretty much poor. Oh yeah and it was my parent's car I was driving, so basically I drove home very very slowly after dropping off my friend (Who laughed all the way back to his place), thinking what would happen. Basically they don't give a crap about the scratched paint on their car, but they decided to bypass the insurance company and pay the repairs for the other people directly, and then I'll pay them.

I think that's probably it, although I would like to know if anybody else got hit by the Friendship Train.
