Oh my GOD! GM6 cannot be downloaded from gamemaker.nl anymore, because it now links to yoyogames.com… And yoyogames doesn´t have the links to GM4-5, or GM6. That means they have totally scrapped the idea of the old versions, and now they force all new users, to use GM7! That´s nasty, mean, and VERY egoistic! Fortuneately, i still have the installer on my computer. So if anyone runs into trouble, and have to download GM6 again, because they don´t like GM7, can just go visit this blog and click the link (that leads to box.net). Well… here´s the link then:

I have Game Maker 5, 6, and 7. I haven't used 7 yet for anything major, although I am using it for the server part of my new game. Heres the GM6 download: http://www.gamemaker.nl/old.html
GM 6.1 is best for mobile uses, like when I like to make stuff at school. GM 7 is obviously better for a single personal computer. For any other version below those… MOVE ON.

GM7, is better when registered anyway, it has more functions so if you can be bothered to do the reg transfer right you get alot more…
It is much faster with fps, it has extension packages, and the functions and uploads are easier to acess, its ot worse but i still am going to use gm 6.1 fpr fast 3D loading sometimes.
