Ze Aches and Pains

Stiff all over, pulled my neck, chest, back, right shoulder, and both knee muscles.

And I've got to take Tylenol every 4 hours.

So I havent been able to work on Pawned, but no worries, I'll get to it as soon as possible.

So I've got to rest. I'm exhausted. …

Bicycle/Car Wreck with Police

Posted by DesertFox on July 7, 2006, 10:01 p.m.

Yes, I read the blog about the dirt bike wreck - which is ironic.

My first day at work, I start biking home, and two hours later I find myself at home with no memory of the last several months (no worries, it came back).

Turns out I was in …

So I was in JakeX's message box...

Okay, so I logged out because someone mentioned my name in a broad way - I thoguht they were using the infamous user tag.

Turns out they weren't. When I logged back in, I saw "229 new messages" and my face was O_o.

About 200 were messages from Shadowstrike32 saying …

Well, Pawned met with great enthusiasm. Not a single bad comment, everybody seems to like it.

One thing made me laugh..

Pawned Released!

Pawned

It all starts when 3 kids playing with a bow and arrow ally shoot the King in the head with a very (un)lucky shot. The King, who lives, suspects that this "assassination attempt" has to do with the upcoming chess tournament, which is very, very soon.

Posted by DesertFox on July 5, 2006, 9:40 p.m.

Yep, I'm back.

So I messed up on the u-primitives thing by using ds_lists, well, I've fixed that.

There seems to be a bit of controversy over whethere designing my own functions to replicate registered functions is okay.

U-lists, really unregistered, and leaving

Posted by DesertFox on July 2, 2006, 12:35 p.m.

So I'm off - in about an hour.

I fixed the ds_list problem in skidmark by creating an entire set of unregistered scripts that are called, act, and return just like ds_lists.

So the unreg versions of Skidmark really work in unreg now. And I'm posting the u-lists as an …

Quality vs Quantity

Posted by DesertFox on July 2, 2006, 12:22 a.m.

Well, I'm going camping for 4 days, and I'm leaving in 12 hours…

It seems that ds_list functions are registered only so the unregistered Skidmark Examples don't work.

O_o Data structures are core! Neccessity! I'd die without them!

You'll have to change it to arrays. It shouldn't be too hard. …

Skidmark Updated! And Chimichangas!

Posted by DesertFox on July 1, 2006, 2:44 p.m.

Updated!

For you non-registered people, I have done the impossible - I created my very own unregistered-primitives script just for this! and ported over image angle to an image index thing of a rotated sprite!

I also created alpha removal, so now, if you want, the skidmarks disappear slowly! And …
