Kats on Keyboards

I want to glare at a few people for the sake of glaring at them.

*glares*

Yeah, I'm glaring at you, Mr [insert user tag here].

<table width=100%><tr><td style="background: transparent url(http://64digits.com/users/DesertFox/header_line.PNG) repeat-x scroll 0%; width:100%; height: 24px;"><h2 style="color:black">Games</h2></td></tr></table>So as far as I can say, I am happy with my chosen standards - I'm going to go by a two-tier system, meaning, I'm more lax with games w/o a preview pic. So I may remove your preview pic if the game isn't frontpage material, but still is acceptable.

In other news, the game queue can be very interesting. I've found a flash game as well as a clickteam game that were submitted. Some people just blatantly ignore the large 'GAMEMAKER' written in the top-right of the site. I've also seen some awesome things, as well as some things that look like they were written by a kat on someone's keyboard.

<table width=100%><tr><td style="background: transparent url(http://64digits.com/users/DesertFox/header_line.PNG) repeat-x scroll 0%; width:100%; height: 24px;"><h2 style="color:black">The Interesting Portion of my Day</h2></td></tr></table>And now for the more interesting portion of my day - it snowed 6 inches to a foot last night. Which is awesome. I love the snow, I enjoy walking barefoot through it. Don't ask me why I do such insane things - I just do.

I've also got interesting classes - my math class is a wonderful 50 minutes long, and no homework ever. My Psychology class is also 50 minutes long, and I only have to attend 2 out of 4 days a week. Thats right, the teacher lets us skip half the classes. Also, no homework for that class. Don't really know about my other 2 classes though. Haven't formed an opinion over them yet.

<table width=100%><tr><td style="background: transparent url(http://64digits.com/users/DesertFox/header_line.PNG) repeat-x scroll 0%; width:100%; height: 24px;"><h2 style="color:black">Deus Ex / Max Payne</h2></td></tr></table>I've been playing Deus Ex, and Max Payne. I want to play System Shock, but I can't get ahold of it as of right now. I do know someone who has it, and when they are not looking, I shall thief it away. Max Payne is an interesting, great game. Slomo is kickass. Thats all I can say, all I have to say. Deus Ex is a bit slower-paced. Its more 'sneak up on them and stab them in the back of the head' type of gameplay. I do love all of the little weapons though.

In Deus Ex, the speed of the game is really wierd. For instance, when I restart my computer, the first time I play, the game plays at half-speed. Not half the fps, its that things happen really slowly. Then, if I exit and re-play, it is normal speed. Then, if I exit and replay again, it is double speed. Double-speed is nearly impossible to play on because they see you, and you're screwed. Lots of fun though.

My advice though is, if you do the training first (I suggest you do) don't let the bot see you in the final test where you have to get across the river. You cannot die, but it can shoot your legs off, meaning you have to crawl everywhere really slowly, while the bot keeps shooting you over and over, with you constantly making the grunting noise of 'I got shot' and having blurry red vision.

Max Payne is fun though. Slomo, leap backwards, headshot with dual Berettas, what's not to love?

(Belated comment) Both games are awesome. I never got far in Deus Ex before giving up, but Max Payne is a grand game. The plot twists are insane near the end, and you will probably explode when you reach it. The sequel, though, was not as good, in my opinion.
