Today, I was asked about 3D stuff, and so I randomly made a heightmap example just to prove I still know GML. It isn't drawn in 3D, but that's a simple change if you know how. What it does is randomly generate an array of heights, and then uses that mesh, displays it, and calculates the height of the mouse according to the mesh. At the center of each circle is a point that has a height, and the height of the areas in between points is calculated on the fly when needed.
