Ingame - Arrows to move, Z to jump, Z+Arrow against wall towalljump, (hold) X to grappel near a grappel point, Esc to exit/pull up a menu

When playing this demo, I ask that you first play the main test level via 'Play' button in the main menu. This level has been designed to best illustrate the player's movement and the interactive level objects.

- This is a ninja. He likes to run and jump.

- This is a sandwich. The ninja likes to eat them.

- This is a grappel point. The ninja likes to swing on them.

- These are some hazards. The ninja doesn't like them at all. One explodes, one slices, and one lasers. They have friends, but they aren't here right now.

Editor - The editor is a bit of a mess currently, and is incomplete. Currently, behavioral enemies cannot be placed (spinning shuriken, lasers, etc).

WASD/Arrows to move about the map. TAB brings up a minimap displaying the whole level.

Holding shift brings up the object selection menu, and A/S/D changes between object selection types. Click to select an item to place.

Place items by clicking. Delete items by holding control while clicking. If you are placing solid tiles, you may mirror them horizontally and vertically by pressing Z and X respectively.

This current method of editing is rather clunky, and is slated for an overhaul in the near future. Currently, the player can place ground tiles, the player's start position, mines, sandwiches, and grappel points.

*Impending update*

An update to this demo is currently pending, and will be uploaded later today after testing to ensure it is bug-free.

This update will include:

Several more interactive map items (trigger laser, whomp blocks, spikes)

Death animation and level restart

Level completion (yes, I know, finally)

Miscellaneous small changes

And now for the contest.

So you all know that I hope to make money with this game. Well, I want prospective sponsors to have a good look at the online level sharing system.

So…

If I do make money from this, the person that makes the awesomest level might get something from me…
