Skeletons and Barotrauma

My god, I've turned into a lurker!

Its been a month and a half since I last blogged, and I have made very few comments on blogs in that time. Thats odd, because I'm on the site pretty much every day, reading the new blogs, ignoring twinsoul, and whatnot. I guess I just do all my talking on IRC.

This is what I worked on a while ago - an iPhone application to find specific brands of beer, and locate breweries, distributors, and restaurants that sell those brands of beer. You can see where stuff is, and even get directions (it auto-locates you, but you can do what I did which was place yourself in San Francisco and find a brewery in New York - the directions work :D) We're going to be launching in a few weeks, and we need to get coverage!

SO! Like it so we get popular and get more coverage! >:{

Barotrauma

So I'm back in Texas, in the ol' spin cycle that is life. Just going 'round and 'round. During my plane trip a few weeks ago, on descent, they have to adjust pressure when they land. Instead of a slow, gradual pressure drop, it was a sharp, fast drop, and instead of my sinuses equalizing pressure like they should have, they filled with bloooooood. Well, only one of my sinuses, but the largest one did. Right frontal sinus cavity - bloooooood. So, one second I'm fine, the next,the right side of my face is getting hit with a fiery spiked hammer of pain. It took two weeks for the blood clot the size-ish of my eye to go away. I later researched it and found out that i had basically the worst grade of it (severe pain for 3 or 4 days, and the clot almost couldn't drain - i almost would have needed surgery)

I wasn't the only one who felt the pressure drop, either. I'm normally immune to pressure changes, so it was quite a drop. I think it had to do something with the fact that the electrical systems on the plane were busted (all electricity had to come from the engines, because the generator was busted).

Skeletons

I stole my brother's tablet, and drew a skeleton from memory.

A spooky alien skeleton.

Wierd Occurances

So a year ago, I absentmindedly said to my friend's girlfriend "I need a hat!". This was before I got my now-beloved fedora. Skip forward a year, I'm back in Texas, and meeting up with said friends to start some DnD (its turning out to be interesting - 2 of our guys are ex-military, including the DM, and we've got a 3rd ex-mil friend coming to join later). Anyhow, I walk through the door, and I just hear the words "Hat!" and a blur of orange speeding towards my face.

So my friend made me a fox hat, because she likes making stuff and things like that.

Other

I've been watching 3rd Rock from the Sun. 90's television is awesome.

Minecraft still hasn't updated (except for the leak which doesn't count because its buggy and not official) >:{

I've read several really good books. Stephen Baxter is an awesome author.

Moved a bunch of furniture around.

I've been playing GTAIV and running people over a lot. I miss the sheer awesome amount of cheat codes in the previous games. Where's my raging pedestrians with bazookas? :<

Bunch of wildfires breaking out here in Texas

I dunno

I'll just leave you with this:

There should also be a userpicturetag using a database of stupid pictures of 64digits members :)
