Just letting you know I'm still alive. I've been sort of pseudo-gone, if you hadn't noticed. Having a job does that rather well, doesn't it?

One of my first major pieces of work is under final review tomorrow - I was tasked with doing a complete rewrite of one of my company's older apps. If all goes well, the new version will be live in the store in a week or two. Functionally, it is almost the same as the old version with some extra features, but it is a lot faster, more stable and is nevertheless something I am very proud of. I've also done a bunch of smaller tasks on other apps (mostly bugfixing). If you've got the TNT iPad app, you're soon to see some of my handywork.

Aside from that, I've been dabbling in GLSL for iOS. I figured it was high time to move on from ES 1.1 to 2.0 - shaders baby!

I watched all of Venture Bros over the last few weeks, and I just want to say that I can't wait for the new season. Eight months and counting….

Special is a strange and interesting movie. I can't decide if it is hilarious, or incredibly depressing.

Portlandia is absolutely terrifying if you are not in your right mind and don't know the premise of the show. Hell, it's terrifying even if you do! On a side note, alcohol and sinus medicine do not mix. Not with Portlandia.

Richardson is an awesome place to live. Its close to Dallas, so you get all sorts of cool stuff, but not so close that you have to deal with the annoying things that Dallas brings.

Also, humorous videos.

Guy made a lot of BF3 trolling videos, they're good. Watch them.

For all all you that read this entire blog, something extra. My other half is coming down from New York for a visit soon. What could this mean! Gasp! A mystery! :P
