Self-Outsmarting, Recording, Composing, and 'Her'

Well, I managed to survive French, so I haven't died yet…

I finally got around to making a recording of my song, though it's rather bad (I need some recording equiptment, and I didn't play all too well, I would hav ere-recorded, but my sister went to bed and I was being too loud)

Here's the link to the .wav: Still no Name

I've decided that I'll ask 'her' out to the valentine's day dance… probably when the announcement is made at lunch over the next few days (this way, Idon't have to take planning a date into my hands, and I don't really have to asl her out, just ask her to a dance. It's foolproof… unless she says no.)

As far as composing goes, I've started on another song… this time I have it more planned out, so It shouldn't be so random.

Now, for the wierd part: I was digging through a droor, and found a message I left for my future self back whan I was 7… it appears to be some sort of code, which I should be able to crack (I mean, I'm 2x the age I was when I made the danged thing)… I thought it was some sort of alphabet-number code, but that didn't work… here's a scan of the paper… it's pretty bad, but if you can make heads or tails of it, tell me.

In short, I outsmarted myself.

Well, I don't know about that code. =/ I'm never good at that stuff.

Nice song. I like it.

Good luck asking 'her' out. :)

just look for the most repeating symbol, it's usually an e, a t mostly always goes with an h, so by looking for subtle clues like those, it should be easy to crack

Tried that… too bad there weren't many repeating symbols (one repeated tX, but it's in a bad position for a vowel…) also, my spelling then wasn't all to great, that could lead to some problems.
