I've used gimp in school alot and i can use it relatively easily but i've never really had a chance to try photoshop. I've heard so many people say that photoshop is better but they never have any reasons. Except melee-master and i think fender-skills who both use gimp. Mabe some of you could tell me what program you think is better and well… why.
And because im so new im not sure how ludablogs work… like can anyone respond to them or just poeple with luda-badges? sorry
I personally prefer Paint and GM's sprite editor… :D
what do bagdes actually do?…. are they just like a status thing or will they actually mean something along the line?
They seem to be some form of bagging rights… I think member points gonna be money though. Wait, yeah. The badges are cool the way they are though. :D
I like GIMP because I've never used PS. Paint kicks ass too.
Ludablogs are awesome. Try and get your name in one. I've been in them for various reason: my renders, being banned by Melee-Master as a test, and for no reason at all. And why would you need a Ludabadge to comment at a Ludablog? There's nothing stopping you. It's just for fun too.I don't use either. I usualy just have to have to find the co-ordinates, or size of an image, or something…And I just use graphics gale for that.
When I have to do something that's a bit above graphics gale, I use gimp, since I'm too lazy to instal photoshop.But yeah, I generaly don't have to use either.And [username]blogs are simply normal blogs with a catchy title. =PYou can reply to them same as any other blog.And badges are just…I dunno. JakeX got bored and wanted to give users incentive to do stuff on the site. XDPhotoshop CS2 is better than Gimp because it is more powerful and has more options, but Gimp is for people who just need to get the job done. Its no wonder why pros use it, the possibilities are so much more endless.

He started writing it at the same time as me and it took him like 15 minutes for some reason. Typical.

If you have the money or can 'get' photoshop any other way I highly suggest it, I feel its much better than Gimp. I have Gimp here but I use PS at school all day, well PS and Flash.
