I’ve been working on many things lately, partly because I had the week off. I started on my YYG competition entry. Haven’t gotten too much of it done, but it’s going well.

I’ve also been working on chiptunes. Keeping the oldschool alive :D I’m self-taught when it comes to chiptunes, but then again, most people probably are. Check out one of my older blogs that had to do with chiptunes if you want to know more. Anyway, I’ve been messing around with some effects like changing the pitch and volume. Cool stuff. I’ll show you one of my short results at the end of the blog (it’s an xm file).

Another thing I’ve been doing is working on my song for the music contest here (I have made 3 different ones so far, but I can’t decide which to use). My entries are not chiptunes, either. The contest is kindly hosted by Polystyrene Man. Originally it was sk8m8trix who came up with the idea (it was and is a good idea), but it never really got off the ground. I talked to Poly about starting it up, so he started it up :D Check it out, make a song, submit it, and see where you end up. You won’t regret it. Also, there are some good prizes as well, and stampede even made an awesome banner for it too.

You may have noticed that my brother registered an account here. Yes, you should be concerned about duplicate accounts, especially since the Vezper/Ios event. I can assure any concerned modreators or members that it is not a duplicate account. We are two different people. We are not clones, Siamese twins, or anything of the sort. I believe Basil and amerup are brothers as well, so there shouldn’t be any problem.

Oh yes, I almost forgot. Here is a small chiptune that I made recently. Check it out. Please do, because it’s a very short loop and the zip file is only 1kb. You too, Juju.

Yes, this is probably one of Hendrix’s more famous tunes. That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t listen to any more, though. Check out “All Along the Watchtower.â€? It’s a cover of a Bob Dylan song, but personally, I prefer Hendrix’s version. It’s also got a wicked solo.
