The past two weeks, actually, have been strange for me.
DEATHI found out yesterday that a friend's dad died. It turns out her dad was murdered. Her dad is the owner of a rather large textile company that employs several thousand, and he was shot, knifed, and stuffed in the trunk of his car. The killers took all the money he had on him, which happened to be like 2000 TL (approximately 1500 dollars), as well as a laptop and a camera. It's just sickening; a life isn't worth 1500 dollars. So he left behind a wife and four children, two of whom I am friends with. They are all students, and he was on his way to Switzerland to attend one of his son's graduation. The scary thing is he was murdered like 10 minutes from where I live. It was really unusual because things like this never usually happen around here - it's surprisingly calm for such a large city (albeit frequent protests in the central districts on holidays). I guess I won't be seeing my friend around for a while.EXAMSIt's exam week. Only ninth grade, why bother having finals? It's not like we need the practice, as we're drilled with frequent tests and assessments. SKULLOh well, check out my skull I drew last night between a shower and CSI:NY:Also, why hasn't anyone mentioned the Champions League? Did anyone even watch it? See Messi's insane header? I know it was a while ago, but come on guys =)Football season has started for our school, and hopefully we'll travel for a tournament to some nice European city. Warsaw perhaps. You around Cesque?
That is harrowing.
Can it really be worth risking prison for that, never mind killing someone? Makes you wonder…
Nice skull, allthough I first thought it was a wizard because the long teeth look like a robe.
I'm very sorry for what happened, it is never worth taking a life for money. That's terrible. I feel so sorry for your friend. =(
