Okay, so, here's the deal. I finally got my windows activated, and got directX. Yay! The only problem is that I still can't see pale colors.That makes the main page impossible to read without highlighting the text. Also, I can't fucking find that goddamn sound driver. It makes GM games error out without it.

Anyways, in programming news. No way in hell will I finish levels 1-14 in 3 days. Especially since I am gone tonight and tomorrow during the day. So, I will just do levels 1-4. And then probably keep it a couple more days to finish a few things.

Then, I am going to reinstall VB 6.0 Learning Edition. I got it with a book a while ago. But that was when I was even a n00b at GM, so, it confused the hell out of me. I skimmed through the book last night, and it seems similar to some GM functions. Basically, MsgBox() is like show_message, InputBox() is like get_string. The book is one of those "in 24 hours" things, and I've done the first 2 lessons, which didn't require use of the program. I think I'm dumb, it took me 2 hours a lesson. But, I'm still gonna learn it. Then I am going to see if any of my friends have the real VB6. The book came with Learning Edition, so I can't make .exe's with it. I woould use 2005, but that uses the .Net framework, which I'm not too fond of.

After I get the hang of that, (Which will be in about 3 weeks, since the last 4 lessons require a higher version of VB) I am going to download Dev C++, and some tutorials for that. When I get the hang of it, I'm going to download the Irrilicht engine for Dev C++. Does anyone know how to pronounce Irrilicht? (I think that's how it's spelled…)

I also have a book on Eclipse, but the site is so confusing, I can't figure out what to download, and the book came with a way outdated version. :( It also seems pretty confusing, so I'll just stick to non-java languages. :)

Also, I found this 'all mod' GMC. I am so tempted to go all proxy on that shit and ban everyone! XD
