[Ambition]

Insert deep thought here.

I'm hoping google led me to the right symbol/character.

I'm actually pretty damn lazy. I usually wait for inspiration when I have nothing to do (School), or I find something interesting visually or conceptually online. This came from reading something about the meaning behind the 8 ball in a certain position.

I guess I'm pretty cocky too, since life hasn't kicked me in the butt yet. I get away with ridiculous procrastination, and until I get smacked upside it probably won't change too much.

The consequences of incomplete deadlines probably motivate me to finish them, though only at the last moment in most cases.

What motivates you?

Oops. Gotta get back in the flow of 64D blogging guidelines.

Modit: No worries, friend.

Let's talk ambition.

I consider myself ambitious. and judge other people based on their level of ambition.

Does that make me a douche?

Well ambition is different from being straight up cocky.

I'm actually pretty damn lazy. I usually wait for inspiration when I have nothing to do (School), or I find something interesting visually or conceptually online. This came from reading something about the meaning behind the 8 ball in a certain position.

I guess I'm pretty cocky too, since life hasn't kicked me in the ass yet. I get away with ridiculous procrastination, and until I get smacked upside it probably won't change too much.

The consequences of incomplete deadlines probably motivate me to finish them, though only at the last moment in most cases.

In my eyes, ambition and motivation are completely separate. You can be ambitious but still be a lazy lay about with no motivation to chase that ambition. Or you can be ambitious and motivated to work towards it.

In the same way you can be "too ambitious". Don't set yourself unrealistic targets, even if you're hardworking and motivated. Take things in steps, break it down and work from there. It's all about managing your ambition.

@JuurianChi: I don't think it makes you a douche, as such - everyone judges people in their own ways. However, how ambitious someone is shouldn't hold you back from getting to know that person or becoming friends with them.
