So guys, those of you who use Steam, know that there's that Fall sale going on, and I wanna buy a bunch of shit, but I gotta save some cash for Christmas for ma gf. So I can't go all out crazy. So help me out here, what should I settle on. These are some I'm interested in atm.1: Portal 1 and 2 pack2: Mirrors Edge3: NFS: Shift Unleashed 24: Brink5: Hard Reset6: Assassins Creed 2Or should I just wait to see what else comes up over the week, or wait for the Christmas sale?Oh, and here, have this present for those of you who read through that… and for those you who didn't, cause I'm so nice.
portal 1+2 if you haven't got them
^This.
Screw the other games.Fuck Portal. Get Mirror's Edge, it's a much more worthwhile purchase.
Also, Eva, do you post on Conceptart.org, or Deviantart?Pff just play the Mirror's Edge demo, the entire game is exactly the same experience.
Assassin's Creed 2.
The story itself is one giant fucking puzzle and there's plenty of puzzles in the actual game. plus you get to stab people in the neck. so no need to buy portal.@Moikle: Nope, I don't have em, although I've played both of them at one point or another.
@Flak3: ^This.@SMP: I've been thinking about Mirrors Edge more than portal, but I keep hearing what Toast has to say, so maybe when it's cheaper than it is.I use both CA and DA, I go by Gunzet pretty much everywhere else but 64D.@JID: Yeaaa, thing is, I'm still reeling from all those puzzels in LoK Soul Reaver, so I need at least a decade of recovery time before attempting another puzzle game… Portal being an exception.Hmmm, so it's down to either Portal or Mirror. You don't want hard reset or Brink.
They suck.I've played the demo for Hard Reset, and fell in love. It's on my wishlist, lol. As for Brink, I'm more interested in it for the art style, which I've been told is very similar to my own, haha.
I enjoyed Screed 2 more than what I enjoyed Portal 2. So there's that.
I have Portal 1+2 and Mirror's Edge. I highly recommend both, but I'd say Portal is better.
