Getting back on track with my usual art blogs, I have actual worthy content this go around.I decided to try and exercise my Zbrush skills this go around. This saves me a lot of time getting the anatomy completely right off the bat, so I can skip right to the design aspects. This is a little sketchover of the Zbrush model of how I wanted the armor and accessories to look.I tried and tried AND TRIED to do the armor and accessories in Max and Zbrush, but I just couldn't. So there was only one thing I could really do here; draw it all.I exported a pic from Zbrush of the model in a 3/4 view, which is how I often do a lot of my concepts. The model was done using Zspheres and a couple different standard tools.Working with the anatomy and initial design sketch in mind, I lowered the model opacity, and began working in PhotoshopThis is what I have so far.I'm gonna be tweaking the design a bit more, then I'll actually color it.
Why are you people so talented?
what do you mean, "you people"?
This is awesome.
My first and last JuurianChi moment:
That's awful yet classic, I mean what are the odds?
