I finished these last week, meh. Drained the hell out of me, and to think I've promised all 12 months…Edit Before I even Posted:Yknow what, fuck the whole thing I had written beforehand. I'm the furthest thing from mentally stable this week as it gets, and I'll deal with it like I always do.NOW, please, enjoy your blog. *bows*These are 30-60 second gestures I worked on earlier just to see if I could clear my head.AndsomerandomwhateverIdunnoAaaaand… yep, that's about it. I'm out. Catch ya some time in December.
I always look forward to seeing your art
Out of curiosity, how long does it make you to draw each image? I can't imagine having the patience and motivation you'd need in order to do all this.
Thanks Moikle, I kinda struggle each time to bring something out. Motivation for the past 2 years has either been at an all time low, or school is just sapping all the creativity I have left, because I don't have the luxury of taking a semester off. But yea… I try and keep em coming!
As for how long it takes for each one of these? I'm assuming you mean the finished ones. Well, I'll lay it out in steps.1: Initial sketch: approx 1hr (depending on the pose, the poses often take me the longest to figure out)2: Clean sketch + extra details + changes: 2-3hrs3: Inking + final details + changes: 6-8hrs (depending on the amount of detail)So yea… I usually do all of this in one sitting. So it can easily take a whole 12 hours straight. I don't know if I'm either slow as hell, or what. Your usual comic artist could pull off what I do in half that time, lol. It's weird to see non-UT-style art from you.
And what's this? EOTechs? AFGs? Ranger Plates? These aren't weird futuristic weapons! And a fabric chest rig instead? Why is this creepy bunny not wearing anything that requires hydraulics?!Also, a creepy bunny?!I leave for a month, and you start expanding your talent. Geez!I like it though.Except the bunny. The world needs fewer bunnies.@Cyrus: Trust me, I make it seem like I have all the patience in the world. I don't, which is why I finish these in one massive blood clot of a sitting. I've really been trying to work on my habit of rushing things lately, so these are the product of that.
@FSX: Yeaaa… haha. I tend to switch gears -a lot-. I still do a lot of the futuristic stuff, but lately I've been chilling on that just so I can explore a darker style for a while. I've always been a fan of the whole comic style, so I'm actually just traveling back in time and refining something I've done previously. Thanks btw. I struggle with almost every piece, haha, so as long as I'm hearing I'm expanding, I'm satisfied.
