http://psychoplace.webcomic.ws/"After four years, something big is about to happen in the now derelict psychic research complex code-named Psycho Place, and if it's not stopped soon, the world may be in for a rocky ride."**Edit: Oh god… the typos I'm just now seeing while I'm buzzed off beer. I shall take care of those immediately D:I also did 3 Xbox One controller designs for a competition Microsoft had going on for the past two months. I ended up doing them all in one day on the final day because of all my comic work. So… Until… next.. time? I… ugh school starts again next month and I.. ahh fuck it
I'm completely drained. COMPLETELY… DRAINED.Anyways. I said I'd have my project done by the New Year, and by some black magic, I met that deadline. Here is the first issue in all of its horribleness. Please, do enjoy, or not, hopefully not, cause if people end up liking it, that means I HAVE to continue, and so the process will continue. Oh… oh god, I don't think I can LIVE!**Disclaimer**: I'm not a writer nor a comic artist, forgive the horrible script and panels for me plz? thanks.Anyways.Here it is:
Aww, man. I wish I'd known about that competition. I'd have given it a go. :P
Hot damn your comic is good. No idea what the story is or what's really going on but I like it. Looks better than mine, and you did yours in two weeks :C
@LAR: Hell, I just hope my entries got through. Apparently there's a screening process that can take up to 72 hours, and seeing as though I put my entries in (albeit like super early 2am style) in on the ending date, I don't know if that'll affect them actually going through. Here's hoping.
@Panzer: Thank you, thank you. I put a LOT of work into this, like an unreal amount of work in that short little time. Well, it was unreal for me at least. And the story is uh.. it'll be a bit difficult to follow until I release more issues. And man I loved your comic, had an awesome vibe to it. Whatever happened to it anyway.Getting back into it in full swing, actually. I've been figuring out a new way to do it that isn't a total nightmare, and now I got it. Only thing is, there's a half-finished page in the old process that I need to get through so that it connects better to the new stuff. (To be specific, I did pages 1 and 2 of the new chapter in watercolor, made the physical panels for page 3, then skipped straight to page 4 for the new process.)
Goodbye everyone
@Panzer: I feel your pain. Part of the hassle for me on my comic was figuring out a work process that didn't have me taking 3 days just to finish one page. But yea, zap that thing back to life! My eyes await.
@Acid: Don't do acid.Oh yea. I've just gone through and edited the typos, so I don't THINK there are anymore. I've also fiddled with the presentation a bit and scaled down the pages a ton so it's easier to read now. That is all."I just re-uploaded the whole thing in smaller sizes, though I've planned this first issue in spread format (because I plan on printing it and putting one together to see how it physically looks later on) so I didn't separate them, but it should be easier to read now."
Is what I posted on a forum I go to in regards to the pages being too big. Before I downsized them, they were huuuuge. I'll definitely do a single-page format next issue though. Seems like that's what people want. And thanks. Cyberpunk, eh? Haha, sweet. I think the vibe I've been trying to keep since the old game was like action/horror/sci-fi all put into this really cartoony style, so I guess it's working out.
