Another case of a mis-leading title
4396 views as of writing thisa few hours afterwards, 4425 views (this is when I changed the title)No, still living, still always visiting 64D, I just haven't gotten anything new to post about.Anyway, I've been too busy lately playing on my R4 and my addiction to the Phoenix Wright series. There was a second reason I got an R4 though, and I've given a lil information about that herehttp://helixc.net/index.php/topic,4246.0.htmlAmazingly, it wasn't that hard to make, and I've found out I can get past the 128 sprite limit by using 3D textures that allows 1024 sprites!, (so any bugs with the top screen sprites, will be fixed, huzzah)Anyway, if you see Ogmo flickering a bit, then it's the emulator, it's perfectly alright on the real DS.Also, I was having another idea, something that I did want to do in GM, because it's the easiest thing for the job, but the quality won't matter at all, ^_^Now see, look at these two imagesThe first image was rendered using Blender, my new favorite 3D toy, the second was rendered in GM.Anyway, with the first image, this is the dark setting and style I want throughout my entire game, rendering 3D scenes in Blender, saving them as Jpg and then importing them into GM at runtime, to create something quite similar to the original Resident Evil games.I've already coded most of the game to dynamically load each background, animating them shouldn't be too hard. It's a pretty ambitious project, but if it doesn't turn into a game, then I at least want to let people know that this style is available, I'm getting sick of people trying to make full 3D games on GMC with GM's limited abilityOgamebanned until 2035, for saying wtf (literally, only the acronym), all well, that game got boring anywayAndraiaMy webgame, for anyone thats forgotten, it's not the same ashttp://evilish.soulbreakers.com/infact, that games broken now(I removed all MySQL tables) because soon I plan to put Andraia up there…Anyway, I discovered the joys of AJAX with Andraia, automatically updating the chat without people having to reload the page, ^_^, or a realtime market for trading resources. And soon, I'll make attacking… promise
nah C# is the best
Makes me want blender. But too complicated for my tastes.
