Seriously. First you were coders. Then you were nothing. Then you were artists, and now you are all musicians? How does a community drift towards such trends when each requires some amount of considerably varied skill? I think the answer is that few of you actually have skill in more than a single one of these areas. I won't name names, but it sure seems to me like many of you are pretty bad at art and/or music. You should probably stop spreading yourselves so thin and focus on fewer creative outlets. At this point it's just getting silly.
That's all I really had to say.Why is everybody on this site suddenly a musician?

Hey, hey, hey, that's just not fair.
What if we had and kept up all three of those interests for years?I'm writing a comic book. It's at 62 pages. I've been working on it for about a week.I'm making an STG, which is on Stage 5, and an RPG, which is having refinements made to it's battle system, as well as a Metroidvania on which I can't really work too much. And music, although admittedly I am horrible at composition, I'm still working on bettering myself at it. Take all of the Lunacy Star soundtrack for instance. And I have to ask how I could be spreading myself thin if 10 of my 17 waking hours are spent refining my talents :VAnd earlier, that thing about narcissism? Oh please. This is a blogging site. Exercising that is the entire point. :DTaizen, you are my hero. lol
Instant +3 says you're not the only one who agrees that was well put.
I had no idea that something like that would be as immediately received, I have to admit f^_^;)
I feel so happy to be one-third of an instantaneous action
And just so this comment isn't completely pointless, I will say I've been doing art, music, coding, writing, and martial arts for years and have posted hardly anything about those here. not that I won't…eventuallyyou should totally combine those. :D
O__o
but that might mean…the apocalypseme making an actually decent game or movieD:He can make something similar to Scott Pilgrim the Game, except you're kicking people in the neck.
He can write the story, code the engine, draw the art, compose the music, and choreograph the Kung-Fu action going on :VI wish I was so well-equipped for idea development, but I can't shoot elements from my hands and beat down monsters with a Sephirothesque sword.but i would love to see stories about Virtual Martial Composing :P
On the other hand, I abandoned code entirely and started playing vidya games :D
