Seriously. First you were coders. Then you were nothing. Then you were artists, and now you are all musicians? How does a community drift towards such trends when each requires some amount of considerably varied skill? I think the answer is that few of you actually have skill in more than a single one of these areas. I won't name names, but it sure seems to me like many of you are pretty bad at art and/or music. You should probably stop spreading yourselves so thin and focus on fewer creative outlets. At this point it's just getting silly.
That's all I really had to say.Why is everybody on this site suddenly a musician?

I code for uni/some experimentation on GM, if I've done it before I'll just re-use code.
I do 'art' 'cause a few pictures and the right filters go a long way (it may even look good).I (very occasionally) write something because a thought pops into my head and I choose to keep the ball rolling.I 'edit' video game clips because maybe others may find my video game experiences interesting.I try to keep myself busy (regardless of the outcome quality), I don't want my brain to rot. Also, blogs are for (mostly) self-promotion purposes.I'd rather believe that as complex humans, we are all interested in a variety of things (see Renaissance man idea). Admittedly, we're not experts at everything, but here we have such a wonderful sense of community, camaraderie, and such like that we don't mind sharing our creations in the hope of receiving constructive feedback.
Think warm and fuzzy.Haters, they gonna hate. :P
@Unaligned
I edit Game Clip too! (I started an entire Community for it…)I never insulted anybody personally but they all think I did. I win.
Extravisual is my Hero.
